Accountability to affected population
CHAD recognizes the fundamental importance of accountability to affected people that might include both identified direct beneficiaries of all projects planned to be implemented and has an operational framework that integrates AAP into operational/implementation guidelines contextualized within specific locations and beneficiary types to guarantee that the care values of transparency participation and accountability are reflected.
Our operational framework of commitments is basically centered around
1. Communications with communities strategies eg community advocacy visits. Project posters e.t.c
2. Designing and operationalizing feedback and complaints mechanisms eg ballot boxes, hotlines, incident reports, crises response emails e t c
3. Internal monitoring and evaluation
In doing this CHAD seeks to
1. Provide accessible and timely information to affected populations on organizational procedures, structures and processes that affect them to ensure that they can make informed decisions and choices
2. Provides knowledge on programmatic issues
3. Community empowerment through systematic information cycle to them
Ensure overall transparency during project implementations.
